Operations & Projects Co-ordinator (Traffic Manager)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management Software Maestro. Roll out the use of Project Management Software across the company
• Traffic Manager: assign tasks,and manage workloads to ensure deadlines are met. Monitor progress and resolve
  bottlenecks
• Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects, including
  scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows and productivity
  through process improvement, resource management, and problem-solving.
• Coordination and Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams & departments.
  Central node for communication: facilitate clear and continuous interaction among teams and departments –
  cultivate a collaborative atmosphere.
• Administrative Mastery: Ensure impeccable documentation, record maintenance, and report generation,
  laying a strong administrative foundation for projects and operations.

Requirements:

•  Can easily commute to Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa or willing to relocate.
•  Holds a valid driver’s license and has access to a vehicle.
• Has at least 5 years work experience, and tertiary education.
• Open to working extended hours initially, with the potential for remote work arrangements down the line.
• Experience in the film industry – a bonus.
• Familiarity with film production workflows; development, financing, pre-production, production,
  post-production. Otherwise proven ability to learn fast, self-teach, and the eagerness to learn.
• Ability to gauge how long a task will take and communicate realistic timelines.
• Proficiency with project management software and Google Workspace.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to new technologies, including AI tools.
• Alignment with the company’s culture and values.
