BET Africa’s first daily drama on DStv Channel 129. It revolves around Mary Ndlovu, known as the ‘Mother of the Nation,’ and explores how hidden secrets lead to deadly sins within a dysfunctional family in Vosloorus, Johannesburg’s East Rand.

A group of close university friends get together to celebrate the opening of Mxo’s new restaurant, M.X.O’s on 4th. Throughout the evening the pressure on the hidden secrets between them surmounts to breaking point.

Telling the story of a happily dysfunctional family working things out, it centres around Lebo, a loveable car-mechanic & wannabe rapper who gets more than he bargained for when he inherits a large fortune…and a precocious niece!

Sisanda Henna Films co-produced a Canvus Productions short film, Omowale, early in 2022. A film about a mathematics professor who must do all he can to protect his daughter during xenophobic attacks.
