I was born and raised in Diepkloof, Soweto. In college, I was able to network and collaborate with some unique voices, and I got exposed to a new world of films and film theory. The first year was an amazing experience that included making my first short films, one of them (The Nudge, 2018) won an Audience Award at the 48hr Film Project. Once I left school I ventured into the industry doing a lot of freelance work in both photography and filmmaking. Over the last year I managed to write and direct my calling card short film for the YFP Program along with photographing and directing the BTS/EPK for the whole series.
